Sisters Against HIV and Cancer Initiative (SACHI) is a community-based organization that promotes and create an enabling environment, which supports Health and well-being of communities we serve. With special concern to Women, Orphan and Vulnerable Children, Key Populations and General Populations through community health and awareness education, referrals, linkages for uptake of health care and support services and entrenchment of peaceful value. SACHI started activities in November 2017 and in December 2018, got incorporated with the Federal Republic of Nigeria, (CAC/IT/No121777) with office in Aba North, Abia State. SACHI is also registered with the Civil Society for HIV and AIDS in Nigeria (CiSHAN), Delta State, the Network of Civil Society for Malaria Control, Immunization, and Nutrition (ACOMIN), Delta State LACA and Association Against Child, Sexual and Gender based violence (AACSGBV).
Our Vision
To create awareness for all health -related issues affecting people generally as well as a society where the right of Key populations and women are upheld.
Mission
To reduce vulnerability and poverty among Key populations, women and children as well as empower and engage key populations and women in education, vocational skills, socioeconomic, civic, health and environmental program that would make meaningful impact in the society.
Aims
The Organization aims to promote and create an enabling environment that support the health and wellbeing of individuals especially those who are poor and vulnerable as well as encourage healthy lifestyles, prevent disease and illness.
